Kokomo Opalescent Glass (KOG) has been in continuous operation in Indiana since 1888 and is the oldest manufacturer of magnificent color art glass in the United States. KOG Density Categories:  The codes listed below may be combined with most opalescent color numbers.

"D"- Very Dense. Diffuses light. (ex: 123D) "MD" -  Medium Dense. Limited light transmission. (ex: 123MD)
" " - Most common density.  No density code follows color number. (ex: 123) "ML" -  Considerable light transmission. (ex: 123ML)
"L" - Light Wispy. Near translucent opal. (ex: 123L) "LL" - Streaky. Indicates that the glass is a combination of two or more cathedral colors with no opal content. (ex: 123LL)
